National Flood Insurance Program
Flooding can happen anywhere, at any time. And it can have the most
devastating impact on our communities,
our homes, our businesses,
our economy. And although we are aware of this risk,
according to FEMA, at least
50% of the Nation’s
structures in the SFHA still remain
uninsured against flood.
As an insurance agent or other
insurance professional, it is your
duty to learn about the flood exposure, how
it can
be addressed with National Flood Insurance, and communicate the
importance of understanding flood risk and flood insurance protection
for the
public.
