Community Service and Engagement
ISOP members support the health & safety of their communities
In addition to securing the risks and exposures of people and commercial entities within the region – and around the world – ISOP’s members also actively engage and volunteer within their local communities. But we know being part of a community is about more than living in a place—it’s about being a great neighbor.
Week of Giving in Philadelphia
Each year, hundreds of ISOP members donate their time and talents during the IICF Week of Giving. ISOP members donate approximately 2,500 hours a year in community service activities, including beautification and revitalization projects, historical preservation, safety awareness, installation of life saving smoke detectors, fire preparedness activities, youth reading activities and serving underprivileged communities.
We’re particularly proud of our partnership with the Philadelphia Fire Department to ensure smoke detectors are installed in homes in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of North Philadelphia. Volunteers have also cherished spending their time with the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Read to Lead program, Cradles to Crayons and Career Wardrobe.
