This online course presents an overview of the underwriting function through a variety of articles selected for sound
educational content and high level of interest via the Internet.  Learners will be able to access articles reviewing topics
such as personal and commercial property and liability issues, using Dun & Bradstreet and Best’s Underwriting Guide,
as well as specific examples of decision-making when underwriting industries such as restaurants and hatcheries. 
Self-tests throughout the various learning sites provide students with an opportunity to measure their learning while
reinforcing important points.  A final exam provides further opportunity to test learning.
