REGISTRATION
Early registration is requested due to limited seating.
Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
Please use the registration form provided online or in the Insurance Society's
brochures. Forms can be submitted
online, by fax, or by mail.
TUITION FEE
Payment must accompany the
registration form. Tuition fees include the instruction, associated materials,
and an
Insurance Society attendance certificate. Payment can be made via VISA, MasterCard,
American Express or check
made payable to The Insurance Society of Philadelphia. Financial Hardship
Assistance inquiries should be directed
to the President of the Insurance Society at 215-627-5306.
CONTINUING EDUCATION FEE/CERTIFICATE FEE
Students who require specific certificates
to meet continuing education requirements pay a certificate fee. In
addition, Pennsylvania Producers and Attorneys are required to pay a State handling and
processing fee.
NONMEMBER FEE
Sponsoring member companies of the Insurance
Society receive discounted tuition. Contact the Insurance Society
for membership
CREDITS/REFUNDS
The Insurance Society must receive written
notification of the intention to withdraw from an educational offering
at
least five (5) days prior to the date of the offering for a
refund to be issued. A non- refundable processing fee
of $20.00 will
be deducted from all credits/refunds and requests for class changes.
CONFIRMATION
The Insurance Society will confirm
your registration by email within one week of receiving your registration.
Please take note of the course title, date and location on this confirmation. If it differs
from previously advertised
or notified
Students registered for online courses will receive a Welcome@WebCourse.com
email message with user ID
and password for course access. Course will be open for
60 days from the day the WebCourse email welcome
message is sent.
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
The Insurance Society makes every attempt to maintain class schedules and hold
each class but reserves the
right to cancel classes for lack of enrollments and/or emergencies. In that event,
students will be notified and
will receive a full credit or refund. Instructor schedules or class location changes can result in
rescheduling.
In that event, students will be notified and sent a new confirmation.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
Eligible courses are approved for continuing education credit. Refer
to course
of credit available. License numbers are
required to process CE credits.
NON-DISCRIMINATORY POLICY

privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to its students.
RECORDS
The Insurance Society keeps files for each
student with the
class attendance record. Records are made available to employers who request attendance reports.
The
Insurance Society also keeps records of continuing education credits for attending education sessions
offered by
the Insurance Society.
